All sessions are casual and unhurried and last as long as needed in order to provide you with a variety of images.   Two hours is usually enough time.

Sessions take place at your home or at an outdoor location where your family will feel comfortable, at ease, and connected. Our time together is meant to be spontaneous, relaxing, and fun, and I encourage your family to take breaks for soothing, snuggling, and snacking.

Each session has its own rhythym — belly laughs, soulful stares, quiet snuggles, tickle mania. . . I only ask that you not pressure your child/ren to smile.  I photograph children most effectively when they feel comfortable to be themselves.

For family photos, I do minimal posing and prefer instead to capture  genuine relationships that cannot be posed.   I am happy to take a few posed family shots, but it will not be the focus of the session.
