Meet little mister E!   What a cuuuutie pie!  5 and a half months old and could not keep those delicious little fingers and toes out of his mouth :)   I processed these a little bit differently - warm and golden with a touch of vintage texture.   Enjoy!   In order to leave a comment (and I do love to hear them), use the link at the bottom of the post.   Ta-ta for now!

kelly: I love these photos! If you do not mind me asking what texture did you use to create this?

khunter: Thanks Kelly. It's not a purchased texture. I blended a few different texture layers and also used some color fill layers. Hope that helps!

Shelley: These are amazing photos Kathleen! We absolutely love them.

Tanya: Kathleen, You really have a wonderful eye for photography. These pictures really capture an emotion not just an image.

Angela Shea: just love everything about these!

Meet sweet li’l baby E, only 4 and a half weeks old and a dream to photograph.   He has the most amazing, full smile!!  But my favorite aspect of this session was the intimate bond between mommy and baby, still so fresh.    If you’d like to comment (and I do love to hear your thoughts), use the link at the bottom of the post.

Joslyn: Kathleen was wonderful to work with...everyone was working instinctively -- the baby and I as parent and child & Kathleen as a gentle, keen observer with camera in hand. Thanks, Kathleen!

cindy: Wow, Kathleen! These photos are amazing. You have such an eye and a way of capturing that glorious bond between mother and child. Mmmm :)

Emliie: These are exquisite! Joslyn looks just beautiful, and Elias looks so bonded and happy. How wonderful!!! You are really a very gifted photographer.

Angela Shea: so beautiful...each and every one of them! The first one is just sheer perfection!

lyndsay: oh my, i love the bathtub shots! just perfect!! i've been wanting to do some like it for awhile but haven't been able to convince a momma.....just seriously beautiful work here.

Just wanted to shout out a huge thanks to everyone who came to the reception Friday night.    I have the most amazing friends and clients!!   And I really enjoyed meeting so many new people and look forward to seeing you again.

For those of you that don’t already know,  I’m the featured artist at the NC Crafts Gallery for the month of February.  If you couldn’t make it to the reception, the show is up for two more weeks until February 28  so stop by and check it out.   It’s at the NC Crafts Gallery,  a sweet gallery with lots of beautiful,  hand-made crafts.   Pottery, jewerly, woodworking, and much much more.  It’s in Carrboro at 212 West Main Street (near the Farmer’s Market).

And here’s a little preview of some of my work that’s currently on display:
